Congratulations! on your first step to start selling to 4-5 Cr monthly customers on amazon India.
To start selling on Amazon India, you first need to decide on what to sell and then create a seller account and register yourself as a seller on amazon.
Documents Required for seller account creation -
GST Certificate (if your product attract GST), Cancelled Cheque (Saving or Current), Mobile Number and email (not used before on amazon buyer account or seller account)
To create a seller account on amazon follow the below steps -
Step 1 - Go to Amazon Seller | Sell online on Amazon | Build your online business and click on start selling, enter your name, mobile number or email, password, and click on continue.
Step 2 - Enter details asked by amazon like your store name (can be different from your legal name printed on GST), Category, your pickup address, shipping fee (can be changed later), bank account information, GST details, etc.
Step 3 - After providing all details click on launch your business.
if you do not have all information handy or all steps are not completed you can instead click on Continue to seller central (below launch your business button) and furnish the details later on when you have the details.
Congratulations! So now you have created your seller account.
After creating a seller account you need to list your products on amazon.
